Is there ANY predictability about when more Rosetta tasks might surface?
Nope.
That last batch came as a huge surprise (as did the new server issues that made it last for months instead of only a few weeks).

I looked yesterday and there were only 350 Rosetta Beta tasks left.
I look today and there are no Beta tasks left, but 1700 Rosetta tasks in progress instead, which matches what I expected. Tiny amounts are coming through, but all taken up in minutes, not even registering on the grafana stats page.
Not the hundreds of thousands that might last a few days or the millions we really need.
For that we can only cross our fingers and pray.

It's the end of July, Universities are closed, people goes on vacation, maybe someone of the Rosetta team is preparing for RosettCon 2025
I think, as usual in boinc projects, that works will restart in September.

So yeah probably september.

I am from Seattle originally, I know where the con is being held in general. Don't know the resort.
