My Rosetta seems to need a great deal of connection time to upload and especially download. I'm using a dial-up connection, so I know it will take longer, but right now there are two full screens of files either downloading or waiting to download. Every time I go near my computer, it's saying that BOINC needs to connect. I'm new to this, but when I used to run just SETI at Home, the upload and dowload time was usually just a couple of minutes for jobs that ran for 24 hours or so on my computer. Am I doing something wrong? Is Rosetta just not right for my system? Thank you. |

Help is here for this problem. Go to your project specific preferences and adjust the 'target CPU run time' to something more appropriate. This controls how long a task will run on your hosts and can be set to run for as much as 4 days for a single task. BOINC WIKI BOINCing since 2002/12/8 |
