I think I'd like to put my Rosetta thing onto a different computer. And maybe take it off this one. Can I do that or should I restart the whole process on that computer, make a whole new thing there?

Set up Boinc and Rosetta on the new computer using exactly the same email address and user name. It will be recognised as a second device under your name and retain all the credits earned by the first computer. You may wish to run both at the same time or switch from one to the other. all should work, whichever you chose
