I recently installed BOINC, and while it does run fine and without issues, there is something pretty annoying about it. After just a few minutes of my computer being left idle this logs me out and a BOINC screensaver appears, which can be especially annoying when it takes longer to go back to the login screen. I have closed the manager before, but then it just says boinc isn't running and still logs me out. Also for whatever reason when I turn off my display, and keep my PC on, it can randomly turn the display back on, sometimes with the screensaver and sometimes without. I haven't seen any option to stop the logout/screensaver/display thing. How would I do this?

I am assuming you are using Windows?
If so, then go to your Screen Saver Setting on Control Panel (Windows setting) and change the screen saver to none.

Yes, better to use the compute resources for the work, rather than the pretty screensaver.
