I have over 200 tasks sitting at 'Ready to Start' and all of them have a deadline between 9:39 and 9:40pm tonight. (It is currently 8:27 PM) I have 20 tasks currently running, all with 2-5 hours remaining, and they all are due between 8:19pm and 9:40pm. Why does Rosetta/BOINC keep downloading tasks with impossible deadlines? |

I think this issue should be resolved now. I updated the scheduler to hopefully send a reasonable number of jobs now. |

Thanks - I see that the pending tasks all aborted starting at 9:38pm. I'll keep an eye to see what happens over the next few days. |

I have over 200 tasks sitting at 'Ready to Start' and all of them have a deadline between 9:39 and 9:40pm tonight. (It is currently 8:27 PM) It looks like you've got 230 tasks on your 24-core PC and they run to the default 8hrs. That's 80hrs work if you run 247, but the deadline is 3 days (72hrs) It looks like your cache is a little too large (3 days?) so that every task you call down will miss deadline. I think the maximum cache you can have is 2.5 days (that is, with 2.49 days left, another 8hr task will be downloaded and in theory be returned 2.82 days later, allowing a little leeway) Does that make sense at your end? |
