Hi, I have a little problem here. In VIEW computers I have 6 computer in my account, but I only use 4 PC on the network. I would like to merge the 2 same computer together... How do I do that...
This is because 2 week ago the network crash due to a VIRUS on the Server and it was spread in one other PC before I lock down the network.
So, I reorganise the network with a Router and I have to reinstall these 2 machines cause the partition of the main disk (both PC) was unreadable.
Format and reinstall XP.
When I have reconnect these 2 PC with Rosetta they had another ID number.
So now, I lose a lot of average credit. How do I do, to fix this problem.

Currently the merge function is turned off. It is expected it will be turned on again in a few weeks. Merging was causing some problems with server performance. It is a BOINC issue and there is a fix coming.

They just created a Project Information Index thread

I would think they will annouce it in #6, the Project Announcement Thread. Beacuse the merge host function will coincide with installing the new version of BOINC server software in the Bakerlab. You may want to subscribe to that and several of the other threads listed there, which will send you an EMail when updates are made to the thread.

Old thread, but my situation is slightly different with merging.

I recently changed the name of a PC, so the same PC now has two different stats. Is there a way to merge the stats together?

It is still the same PC, but now I have two stats with two different names. I seen the "merge PC's by name", but is there a way to merge them from mac address or cpu type?
