That's a BOINC flag, not a Rosetta flag.

Note that it only causes results to be uploaded faster. It doesn't cause results to be reported faster. With BOINC, uploading the data from the result and reporting that it has been crunched are two seperate operations. I have no idea why they did it like that.

I know. It's because uploading is a one connection process. Reporting involves communications between many servers, and their tables. To cut down on the load, the came up with criterion before reporting that hopefully reports more than one result with each of the connections.
