Does a PDF "corporate" style information sheet exist for Rosetta? I am trying to get upper management to agree to let me run Rosetta on at least the corporate desktops. The higher up it goes, the less attention span. I am dealing with people that are used to seeing infromation like the below link. If someone could/has created something like that, and make it available for download, it would help. If there is something, and I am just not looking in the right place, could someone point the way? Not to my knowledge. It would be great for someone to put something like that together though! Perhaps some portions of the Rosetta wikipedia would be helpful for you. There is much relevant discussion and links here. And be sure to post there with... well perhaps with this very question, but otherwise, with comments about any resistence you encounter so we might all brainstorm on how to overcome as much of it as possible. Keep us posted. I believe corporate environments are where the most unused TFLOPS exist, and also that they are largely untapped at present. So your experience (positive or negative) will be good information to build upon. Add this signature to your EMail: Running Microsoft's "System Idle Process" will never help cure cancer, AIDS nor Alzheimer's. But running Rosetta@home just might! https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/ |

We don't have a pamplet, but I'm sure my IT director would be willing to chat with anyone if they're worried about it impacting the business. We're running R@H on all of our workstations (~175). -Ethan |
