Is there a way that I can limit the amount of CPU % that rosetta uses? I would like to give my iMac G4 a rest from time to time but without having not do any work at all. Also, with version 5.25 rosetta does not quit when boinc does. When I look at activity monitor, it shows that rosetta is running and using CPU %. so i have to quit it manually from activity monitor. |

i think they're working on that in a future version of BOINC, but in the mean time you could do a search on 'threadmaster'. HTH Danny |

Yes, BOINC is working on such a feature. And I think Scott's point is that ThreadMaster is only for Windows. Sorry Scott. Don't know of a way to do it presently on a Mac. But running Rosetta@home just might! https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/ |
