Well in the,now deleted, thread there was a LOT of flaming on personal basis, about RAC and all that. And I for one wish it to stop. I will not go further into the main idea of the thread and the point system but I advice all here to start respecting eachother a bit more. For example the comment by... matt I think it was to Jose saying he should go see a doctor in his free time was simply untollerable. We are here crunching to CURE illnesses and there you where laughing at someone's illness. Sorry but thats plain wrong! I should also advice the moderators on this board to try and do their work a bit better. This may come across bad/personal towards the mods but i'm a mod on Xtreme Systems (Entity_razer) and if you see problems you act, you try and calm people down, if it doesn't work, delete their post (hide it in your case). Sorry but you where sitting back and when it became WAY to ugly you interviened. As said before me, TO LITTLE TO LATE. I'm not here to tell people how to do their job however and feel free to dismiss my comment/remarks to your own opinion but unless you people start respecting eachother more, less whining and the mods doing their work in due time (INTERVENE IF IT GOES UGLY!! and not when the bad has been done) I forsee this project going down the drain hard and real fast. The allusion to a doctor was made after Jose said that crunchers with more implications in the project, or those who put more money or ... need specific credits reward. It was not related to a disease which nobody is aware of. |

I agree with the sentiments of your post entirely. However, I do think it would be wise and fair for you to edit your post to remove any examples. Unfortunately there are now many hundreds of examples and to pick one isn't going to help. Danny |

It would be best if we simply moved forward. What do we get to do going forward? Respect one another (remember that they are people too). Be a community. Remember the big picture (which is far bigger than anything we are talking about). Ignore those that incite us or try to get in the way of our goal. What do we get to do for moderation? We can get a couple more people moderating, maybe give them more tools or new software eventually, and their combined efforts can stop things in their tracks. THIS RESEARCH IS SO IMPORTANT! Let's not take away or detract from it, let's continue to give! |

I don't believe more moderators are needed. We need some moderators who are here 24 hours a day. |

I'm all for peace. Even neutral countries appreciate peace over war. I would just like to point out that we as the community of users can aid moderators. We can use that little red X down under each post. And if you point out posts that are off topic, or threatening, or adversarial, or disrespectful, perhaps that can bring an early end to some of what's been brewed as well.
