The Meesians scream in terror and run about waving copies of "The New York Times". The evil minions begin marching in the direction of the Ancient Mines of Fluffball. "Must...find...opals."

As the minions finally approached the mines, their path was blocked by an enormous door. I tried a few obvious passwords (Meesian and password) to no avail then the clues I had been given finally came together - I typed "semit kroy wen" and the gate clicked open. I later realized that a door by itself is just as easy to walk around as to open.

The minors slowly entered the mine, one by one, each grabbing as many handfuls as possible, and then beginning to return, zombie like, to the lair.

Captain Hook gets wind of the mother load that the minons have found and brings his crew in to help take the loot.

Suddenly, inexplicably, The Vortex whirls into the mine, one of the EVURL MINIONS types "EVURL SUPERVILLAIN lab" into the Google fieldbox and, picking up speed, The Vortex sweeps up all in its path and carries them away .......

Meanwhile, back on the island, the volcano rumbles as the Evul Overlord readies the first laser for the opals.

and then comes a lame duck politician to over throw the evil lord and his lasers and take over all his riches for the greater good of the world. The commandos stage a impressive sea invasion and the vogan destructors work from the air to take out any resistance.

But the New Yuck Al Wazeera media get in the way as they rush to cover the event and gain advertising revenue for THEIR evul overlords, leaving time for our evul overlord to bung opals into his evul opal lasers...

evul lasers versus old fashioned rocket launchers and bullets, so the energy beams keep flying around in the opal universe and the bullets get vaporised where is our superduper galactic hero to save the day, wonders Lois Vane of the great All Blasphemous Corporation.

Alas, the superduper galactic hero has signed onto the dole and can't be bothered leaving the telly.

The grand supreme all great and wonderfull commander of the alliance of do gooders command the evul lord to surrender and sign his life away to go and watch propaganda films of the late 19th century.

Instead, the evul overlord continues on his path to vurld domination, sending out evul minions bearing opal lasers and others with pockets full of opals to construct improvised opal devices.

Lois Vein misunderstands and publishes a story about offal lasers - the evul overlord is laughed out of his own evul country club.

The next morning in the Daily Gossip, Lois Vein's story printed on the front page for all to read on how the evul overlord asked her to get naked so that he could regain all his power he lost commanding his evul troops to get ready for the next attempt of glorious defeat.

Suddenly, back at the EVURL SUPERVILLAIN Lab, right in front of the EVURL OVERLORD and his assistant, Bertwick, the Vortex swirls into the lab, dumping right in front of them the dastardly Captain Hook, his pusillanimous pirate crew, and the faithful minions, trying desperately to hold onto the opals. "OH, MY, What have you done to the children?", "And who ARE these disgusting creatures?", HisEVURLness' alien wife says, walking into the Lab, returned from her sister's wedding at last.

btw, to set the tone for this scenario, the EVURL OVERLORD and his assistant were swigging egg nog, eating short bread cutout cookies and decorating an enormous evergreen tree with precious gems and bits of sparkly metal thingies.
