Story on grid computing in eSchool News

for me the most interesting thing in that article was the hint that Sony might be promoting grid computing when it launches the PS3. I have seen lots of people speculating about the potential of that platform, but hadn't seen anything to suggest that there might be "official" support from the manufacturer.

Perhaps it *will* be gamesters who will save the planet - even tho that sounds like a Terry Pratchett scenario
