I'm not sure what you mean by "does this look right" so I've taken a look at all of it. Claimed credit is determined via a benchmark formula (whetstone + Dhrystone)X cpu seconds/1728000. Your current benchmarks are: Measured floating point speed 1220.99 million ops/sec Measured integer speed 1142.37 million ops/sec These benchmark scores say you should be "Claiming" 4.92 credits/hour of cpu time. So, we need to see if these measurements are like those of others. Below is a chart of the benchmarks of other users of a similar computers. Boinc reports the cpu as windows recognizes it, so we have two different computers reporting as P4 2.8, the older kind and the new ones. I suspect yours is the older kind from your benchmarks and the chart below. I suspect the first 6 below are older and the remainder are the newer kind. If you computer is of the older variety, then I'd say your benchmarks seem to be right on target. Now Granted credit is done on a "rolling average" per model done in a WU (there are usually several models to a wu). What follows is a chart of your last 31 WUs. I've added two columns to show the "claimed credit/hour" and "granted credit/hour". Also there is a total box at the bottom which shows your "average claimed and granted" over those 31 WUs. After that is a chart which graphs your 31 WUs. (note: the blue bars are "claimed credit/hour", and the purple are "granted credit/hour} As you can see that on average you're getting MORE credit than you are claiming. The variation in credit per wu is due to your computer doing a different number of models in each type of wu. I think you're system is ON PAR with everyone elses. |

Okey, but if for one day=24 hour, one hour is for me example, 5.0493 x 24 hour=121,1832 claimed credit for day, why i have take only 5/6 average credit ? Day 2006/10/9= 151,96 credit, day 2006/10/10= 154,96 credit ??? |

Feet1st has a host similar to yours. It's here Here's his charts for that computer: Although he has his "cpu run time" set to 1 day, you can see you're both getting similar "granted credit/hour". |

Okey, but if for one day=24 hour, one hour is for me example, 5.0493 x 24 hour=121,1832 claimed credit for day, why i have take only 5/6 average credit ? Are you asking "why am I getting more than I'm asking for? I don't understand the question. Each WU has different characteristics. The models take different times to run for different wus. You have your "cpu runtime" set to one hour. The rosetta application will do what models it "thinks" it can do and still follow your preference. some it might do 2 models, sometimes 1, sometimes more. This is why your individual WU credit values fluctuate. |

here is a chart of YOUR wus which includes the number of models done and the WU names. OOPS I copied the wrong header, shouldn't say what it says about credit. |

Appologies to mmciastro, I'll answer by a link to boincstats: http://www.boincstats.com/stats/boinc_user_graph.php?pr=bo&id=302833 As you can see, mmciastro is taking part in quite a few projects... -- Mats |

I like Seti probably more for nostalgic reasons (I started doing DC with them in 1999). The more practical side of me prefers Protein based projects (I'm a cancer patient). I don't have a big interest in any of the other projects. I've crunched for them either because they were a "new" project or because I've committed myself to collecting data. I think my favorite project is Boinc itself, I contribute quite a bit to them. I like the idea of DC itself. |

Excuse for my curiosity, but i'm traying to learn all possible for rosetta and your language. Many years ago has been to miami in Florida for three months and had learned of English in the scool but then i have forgotten all my english. Sure Seti are the first project that it is been born, I have begun this year to help these projects. And i prefer rosetta and climate, that they regard from more close ours life. |

I preferred Homer Simpsons' response when it comes to learning English. "English!!!!! phooey, who needs it. I'm never going to England". Crunch for the project/projects that fit you best. :) Your English is good enough I can make it out. Atleast you're not asking me to learn Italian. LOL |
