Since the problem with all the errors, my recent credit dropped 5 points. Do errors reduce your credit points ? Just wondering, more concerned with the results.

Thanks

Any time you have a time period where work is lost, your RAC will decrease as compared to full-time crunching. This might be work done since last checkpoint when you exit BOINC, or turn off your computer... or if a task fails, you are losing at least the last model you were crunching at the time. And so depending upon how far in to that model the error occured, you might lose more one time then the next.

If you find your system getting errors that others are not (check the "report problems with version x.yy" thread (for the current Rosetta version) to assess if your problem seems unique), you might attach to the Rosetta test project called Ralph. Set up the resource share so Ralph gets about 10% of what Rosetta gets, and see if you can help them test changes intended to fix the problems that crop up.
