I've received lower-than-usual credit for several work-units named PSH_nnnn... (where nnnn is a number, such as 0080 or 0121). PSH workunits: https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/workunit.php?wuid=43868507 https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/workunit.php?wuid=43793087 Non PSH work units on the same machine: https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/workunit.php?wuid=43712893 https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/workunit.php?wuid=43639909 Another machine PSH work units: https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/workunit.php?wuid=43981878 https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/workunit.php?wuid=43932643 Non PSH work units on this machine: https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/workunit.php?wuid=43826140 https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/workunit.php?wuid=43700796 There's a factor 1.5 or so between the PSH and non-PSH work units in credit. Is there a particular reason for this? -- Mats |

This is being carried to the point of being absurd on one of my machines. This workunit was granted only 4 credits for a claimed 120 (31k CPU secs on an X2 4800+; this machine is usually granted slightly more than it claims). This PSH workunit run on a Xeon 5150 doesn't get such an absurdly low credit, although it is lower than other workunits run on that machine. Any ideas what is going on? |

is this not the same as previously which appeared to be due to an abnormally high number of failed WUs, which I believe are still included in the averaging, and therefore drag the average down toward 0? |

..This workunit was granted only 4 credits for a claimed 120...What is the relationship of granted credit to the number of decoys produced? This workunit produced 7 decoys for which you should get more than 4 credits but not 120(?) edit: One of my PSH tasks produced 92 decoys after running 28k seconds and was granted 53 points. The ratio of 92/53 is roughly the same as 7/4. But how this ratio compares to non-PSH tasks I didn't check. |
