Also part of the rumor is they used lower capacity data cable than they should have. But then I also here stories of a firewall. So who knows. the mod didn't say exactly why he closed it, but the img stuff was probally a good portion of it. how the heck do they know? the server lag time or something? has to be some sort of monitoring on it. well we had our fun doing img stuff in the other one, perhaps we should use smaller pictures and do it more sparingly this time around? anyone up to building another pyramid starting next month and running for a month or until the mod kills it again? The images don't really slow down the R@h servers, because the browser actually pulls the image from the server you reference. But they do make the thread take a long time to load. And some of them were getting a little beyond the PG-13 type of nature that you should be linking to on the R@h boards. So the only direction I'd like to offer is to refrain from the more provocative images. [edit]And that you not create posts that cause the margins of the entire thread to be extend.
