Message 60091 - Posted: 12 Mar 2009, 10:12:53 UTC - in response to Message 60075.

I've seen some errors with 1.58, but it seems to require an unusual (at least for RALPH@home participants) combination of events to cause them:

1. CPU usage set less than 100%.
2. At least some graphics use for displaying that workunit's progress.
3. Possibly, also shutting off the graphics display for that workunit.

FOr me both 1.54 and, even better, 1.58 seem to run very well ...

Message 60122 - Posted: 13 Mar 2009, 6:10:53 UTC - in response to Message 60061.

I'm currently unable to connect with the web site over on Ralph@home, or connect to its servers. Is there a problem over there?

RALPH@home is now running again. No word yet on what caused the outage, only that there was one.

I think it is broken even though the server stats page says it is ok. I have several tasks waiting as pending too.

Sorry, I don't know if this is the right thread to write in but...

..where did you hide the BOINC.Italy team RAC ? :-))

at the moment team RAC is about 8000 but members RAC sum is 6-7 times higher.

Is there someone else with the same "little misunderstanding" ?

The project has been having some file server problems the past few days, so credit was late being issued, and stats exports are probably delayed. Things are on the mend now, and should be reflected on the stats sites tomorrow.

There still is problem with main project site (https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta) encoding. If language is set to polish, polish letters aren't shown (there are instead of polish letters).

Yesterday I upgraded all three of my systems to BOINC Manager 6.6.36 my oldest system running Windows 2000 Pro has gotten new WUs but both of my VISTA systems haven't downloaded any new WUs. There is plenty work on your server ready to sent but I cannot get any.

Have fun.

the work generator was having fits from what i saw in another thread.
it's fixed now and you should get work.
also...6.6.x has scheduling and long term debt scheduling issues.
I saw that if you have GPU on your system and are doing GPU work, then you should go down to one of the better 6.5.x programs. If you are not doing any GPU work you can do down to the last "best upgrade" of 6.4.7.

I have not been able to download more tasks for about a day now. The scheduler says that communication is deferred. Any ideas?
