Hi chinookfoehn, I read a similar post in Q&A – Windows. Guessing its a technical problem from R@H I sent a private message to Modsense to alert him to this post. Hopefully the problems will be solved soon, Path7. |

Thank you but as I never received a reply from Ralph at home, I have no great hopes of a reply. This shall be my last attempt at contact for some time - unless the block is removed. |

I've forwarded a note to the Project Team. I know they had to block some IP address ranges to defend against a DNS attack recently, which was coming from multiple IP addresses. If the IP you gave is in that range, then at least we know why it was blocked. It becomes a question of when they can unblock it again. Rosetta Moderator: Mod.Sense |

To: Path7, Mod.Sense I appreciate your assistance and I have been un-blocked/un-banned. As for the purported reason of my ban... my IP never mentioned such but then if there were infected computers within the range... I suppose they wouldn't. -ChinookFöhn |

The ISP probably wasn't aware of what was happening. I didn't intend to implicate them. Only to point out that all users on the same ISP have the same reported IP address. Hence, blocking the IP address had nothing personal to do about you, nor whether or not you use BAM. Rosetta Moderator: Mod.Sense |
