something new for the penguin and his followers:
Video Fix: Gay penguins break-up, a lady penguin did it - Flipping and flopping in more ways than one

So you are saying maybe our little penguin found a young lady and is holed up in a cave in Australia somewhere?

I guess so, he must have forgotten his satellite dish since they haven't got around to wifi in the caves yet. on the other hand, maybe he is speed dating all the lady penguins since the one he chose turned on him and went to find another lady to spend the winter with.

The General is probably having his afternoon siesta, so just keep on keeping on and all will be okay.

As long as the paychecks keep coming, keep on sitting! Siestas take as long as they take, sometimes a long time, sometimes not so long. It is not the sitting time that they are paying you for, it is the time between the sittings that can be scary and worth it at the same time! Sitting time is just gravy! I used to be a paid firefighter, getting paid to sleep at night was great, getting up every hour all night long was not!! Enjoy it while you can, change is coming, hopefully followed by more sitting time!!

ATTENTION!
Sleeping and sitting time is over.
Time to do some P.E.
Double time march and running required for one hour and then you can go back to sitting and sleeping and examining the insides of your eyelids.

Well now that Greg is awake I guess the rest of us have to get up and move around a bit! Okay Greg too much coffee in the morning makes for too much movement during the rest of the day, think decaf if you must drink coffee! I told that to a lady at work and everyone around her laughed, she was soooo hyper! She actually drinks decaf tea all day now and is much less hyper.

lol...thats wild.
caffine goes through me pretty quick.
in the morning i used to do a large coffee frapachino with a shot of espresso and that would get me going until the afternoon. then switched over to diet pepsi.
that just got me going until the evening. I was working 8am-12am 6 days a week way back when for a summer opera installation. so caffeine was needed to keep me going.

That is a good one! I drink 2 cups of coffee every work day and 3 cups on my off days. I am working part-time now, retired once so don't want, or need, to work full-time. I work every Monday and Wednesday and then I throw in every other Friday for a total of 5 days every 2 weeks. Although part of my job is pc replacements at work and we are getting ready to replace about 800 pc's so I will have to work more days when that starts. That should start about the end of September and then I will be working most week days until we finish, yuck!! I don't do the actual replacements, I just give the pc replacement folks a list and then hand hold their way thru it. I end up saying this one, not that one, etc and also being the go between person between the user and the pc replacement folks. I work for the Welfare department, we call it Family Services, for a local government. We have lots of touchy feely employees that have no clue about computers and are scared of any change!! So there are always lots of questions and problems when it comes to any kind of change in their routines. As we get ready some people have actually said they WILL NOT be getting a new computer. We have told them that there are 500 people applying for new jobs every day, and one of them will like their new computer. Like there is an option, it is a Government, you come to work and use what they give you. This is not them working from home on their own pc!! They just think if they protest enough they can have their own way. Stressful for me as I get it from EVERYBODY but my boss does support me and tells me to just have them call him if there is a real problem. He and their supervisor handle it and the user usually gets mad and resigns themselves to the facts of life.

I used to drink Diet Pepsi ALOT now I drink Crystal Lite Iced Tea. It comes in little powdered packets and I just add to a bottle of water. It is easier and MUCH cheaper. I buy bottled water at the store in bulk and then refill it at the water fountains all day. I take in one new bottle every day I work and then recycle it when I get back home. I have thought about taking in a regular water bottle but like yesterday I set my bottle down somewhere and have no idea where it is. Cheap water bottles are better for me!

WELCOME BACK!!! I guess the internet down-under died and you had to do a walk-about thru the Outback to get a letter to us?! Either that or you have just been too busy and have not really been in the Land of Oz all this time?. Did you by chance take a trip to someplace else from Ozzie Land and are now back?

We have to make way for all the spam emails to get through...So it's slow going on the Internets.

Everyone just needs to make sure they report all spam as spam to their ISP and in their individual email program too. This will eventually cut down on some of it, the idea being you mark it as spam, I mark it as spam and the ISP says says "ahh spam"! Now the way to stop it is for NO ISP to accept ANY mail except that which it can verify as coming from the actual sender. Is this going to happen anytime soon, NO!!! Too many college email servers are soooo far out of date that to do this would cripple them! There are STILL colleges you can email thru that do not even check to see where it came from or where it is going!! Spam is alive and well and will continue as long as the ISP's allow things like this to continue! I personally had a problem with one spammer, he sent me 10 spam emails all at once, I sent him 25 back. He sent me 100, I sent him 1000 and he got the message! Aren't colleges fun!!

Got rid of some add ons on firefox that were not compatible and things sped up after some initial slowness. Server seems to have got faster for the boards now.
