I have several pc's and am seeing this:

DONE :: 1 starting structures 10805.5 cpu seconds
This process generated 7 decoys from 7 attempts
Claimed credit 50.5905234199668
Granted credit 34.1587454630763
https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/result.php?resultid=564845773

DONE :: 1 starting structures 10525.3 cpu seconds
This process generated 17 decoys from 17 attempts
Claimed credit 76.3067440825154
Granted credit 107.198357856231
https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/result.php?resultid=564926811

Both units finished around the same amount of time but one found 7 decoys and got 1/3 the credit of the unit that found 17 decoys, is this normal? Both units were crunched by me alone.

The computational efford required per decoy is different for each WU (actually it might be different for each decoy of the same WU), so you get different amount of credit per decoy.

That's sort of what I thought, so if my pc works 24 hours and only finds 1 decoy I will get almost zippo credits? BUT if my pc works for only 1 hour and finds 100 decoys, I could get 1 thousand credits? I KNOW the numbers are VERY wonky, but the idea is the point.

One decoy from one batch of WU's will not grant the same credit a decoy from another batch - the more complex they are, the more credit they're worth, although there is variation in how long each decoy takes. In your example above, what you say is possible, but it's likely that the 1 decoy will be worth a huge amount compared to the 100 decoys that were crunched quickly.

Going back to your first post, your granted credit on the second task is likely much higher because it was run on your i7 whereas the other task was run on your 5800+. The claimed credit values aren't really relevant so ignore those. Basically, your i7 is a lot faster and got a lot more credit in a similar duration.
