Ditto that, although honestly the rig from which this log was taken can't seem to fill its work-unit cache, while another rig of mine has a full cache 3424: 08-Apr-2014 20:07:11 (low) [rosetta@home] Sending scheduler request: To fetch work. 3425: 08-Apr-2014 20:07:11 (low) [rosetta@home] Requesting new tasks for CPU 3426: 08-Apr-2014 20:07:15 (low) [rosetta@home] Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks 3427: 08-Apr-2014 20:07:15 (low) [rosetta@home] No work sent |

fyi: The stupid mistake I make from time to time is running low on free disk space. BOINC will go through the motions of requesting tasks, but it won't get any (nor mention why) if the free space you've specified in BOINC Manager is not available. |

Queue is empty. Again. 1.1m queued jobs and 70k ready to send. We're blasting through them more quickly at approaching 20m creditsday, it seems |

I wish someone would fix this, it's been staggering along for days now! Can't get work most of the time. |

Somewhat annoying, I must admit. Do the "Make_work", "Feeder" and "Scheduler" servers need to be manually controlled? Warped |

Work outages happen - I understand that. Seems to me that Rosetta has an additional constraint. The project appears to lack the resources to communicate project status on the board (or the home page). We can readily see via the status page that there is no work available -- but that is the extent of information available. I suspect most of us simply process an increased proportion of work from other projects when this happens. That being said, it would be appreciated if some kind soul from the Rosetta team would provide some information in the form of a news post or an update on the home page.... |
