Message 7072 - Posted: 21 Dec 2005, 18:54:28 UTC

For a few days now BOINC has had no work and has been idle. The messages indicate that it has requested more but none has been sent. Until it stopped, it was working just fine.

Anyone have any ideas why it stopped or any suggestions to make it start again?

Thank you for your help,
Chuck

If you are running other projects BOINC thinks it doe not need the work and based on the debt of each project it will work what it has until the evens out, or you have a connection problem....

I just removed SETI but Rosetta still doesn't get new work. (I tried to copy the messages from BOINC manager but can't seem to paste them here.)

Can I have a connection problem specifically with Rosetta but still connect to the interet in general?

Not so. I haven't been getting more than 1-2 WU's of Rosetta or seti on the machine I have working both projects. I have tried updating both preferences yet I still end up with very few WU's

would be nice is someone in charge of rosetta had an answer for this seems the project isn't sending WU's even though it shows that their is plenty of work to be had

not so. the projects on my PC's are set to run a specified % of the time in this case Rosetta is set to run 35% of the time and seti the other 65%. I just can't get any work. My boinc process updates with Rosetta but doesn't attempt to d/l any work.
